These alloys typically contain 0.25 – 0.55% carbon 0.80 – 2.0% chromium and 0.15 – 0.25% molybdenum. Alloy steel blind flanges have a tensile strength rating of roughly 600 MPa and while they are durable enough to withstand heavy weights and pressures, they can also withstand high temperatures.
