Alloy Steel F12 Flanges are fabricated from a chromium-molybdenum alloy, with the common concentration being around 1.0% chromium, 0.5% molybdenum and low carbon. This composition improves the strength, heat resistance, and general performance of the flanges. F12 flanges have a tensile strength of approximately 485 MPa and yield strength of about 275 MPa, making them ideal for high-pressure and high-temperature applications.
