Duplex Steel S32205 Flanges made from consist of 22–23% chromium, 4.5–6.5% nickel and 3–3.5% molybdenum, as well as manganese, silicon and small amounts of nitrogen. This proportionate chemistry gives the unique Duplex Steel S32205 alloy amazing resistance to severe corrosion, particularly in chloride environments and it resists fatigue, cracking and crevice corrosion.
