Long Weld Neck Flanges made from Duplex Steel consists of both austenitic and ferritic stainless steel, containing good strength and resistance to corrosion. Common alloying elements are chromium (22-25%), nickel (4.5-6%), molybdenum (3%), and nitrogen, which offset strength performance, as well as add resistance to corrosion. These flanges have excellent tensile strength, high fatigue resistance, and high resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion.
