Nickel alloy 201 flanges consist mostly nickel (about 99%), and also some minor elements like iron, manganese, silicon and carbon. The low carbon alloy has excellent mechanical properties, such as high tensile strength and ductility. The tensile strength is approximately 370 MPa, and good elongation. The major advantages are superior corrosion resistance, especially in alkaline and acidic environments as mentioned before.
