They have a tensile strength of approximately 515 MPa, a yield strength of about 205 MPa, and an elongation of 40%. 310H maintains its mechanical properties in oxidizing environments up to 1040°C (1904°F) and shows remarkable resistance to thermal fatigue and scaling. The increased carbon content enhances strength but slightly lowers corrosion resistance compared to 310 and 310S, making it ideal for load-bearing applications in elevated temperatures.
